Methods of Bible Study

November 4th is our next Sunday afternoon meeting. We are hoping to try something a little different, and do a series of practical workshops to help us all learn how to better read and study our Bibles. Please come prepared with your bibles, pencil crayons, and pencils.

Lunch will be provided, but we do ask that each of you contribute $2.50 to help with the costs. Thank you so much. We are thankful so many made it out last week, we hope to see all of you again this coming week!

Blessed are the Persecuted

We are finally going to complete our series in the Beatitudes. Please join us upstairs at 1pm on Sunday as we learn what Jesus meant by 'Blessed are the Persecuted'. Bring your own lunch!

Hiking at Elora Gorge

Weather-permitting, we are planning a day trip to Elora Gorge this Saturday. Come and enjoy God's creation as we hike and explore the beautiful gorge. Join us also for a time of reflection and fellowship. Sony will be speaking on the forgiveness of sins and the extent to which God has forgiven sinners. We look forward to seeing you there.

Let us know ASAP if you are able to come. We need to know by Wednesday.

*For those living downtown, meet us at the church @ 930am.

*For those living uptown, meet at Don Mills Station (Fairview Mall) Passenger Pick-up @ 10am.

*Bring your own lunch (and lots of water).

*Bring footwear appropriate for walking in the river (sandals, old running shoes). Dress appropriately for the weather.

*If it rains, still meet us at those locations and we will spend the day in Markham (games, bowling, lunch, etc will be on the agenda).

Fall 2007

The time has come for us to start meeting again. Not only will we soon begin our Bible Studies every other week, we will also be participating in a few different events this fall. We are even hoping to have something planned for October 13, or something shortly thereafter! Keep posted!

Please join us every other Sunday as we finish our study in the Beatitudes. We were considering doing a book study, but have now decided it would be more profitable to use our afternoons in Bible reading/study workshops so all of us may learn how to benefit more from our devotional readings.

Our first study will be October 21st. Join us for our last lesson in the Beatitudes: Blessed are the Persecuted. Please bring your own lunch!
